The arrangement has a switch lever (9) arranged via the end of the shaft or arranged directly on the tool holder. The switch lever (9) switches the drive motor on and off. The arrangement also has a switch device actuated by the switch lever (9). The switch device includes a non- contact switch (35) and a release or trip element (31). The latter is connected to the switch lever (9) and can be moved up to the non-contact switch (35), which may be fitted into an adaptor (7) hinged to the switch lever (9). The trigger element (31) may be fastened to the switch lever (9). The trigger element (31) may be fitted into a switch axle (27) fixedly connected to the switch lever (9) and pivotally connected to the adaptor (7). Alternatively it may be fitted into a locking handle (11) on the switch lever (9). The non-contact switch (35) may include a reed contact. The trigger element may be formed by a permanent magnet fastened to the switch lever (9). The adaptor (7) may be formed as a sleeve fitted onto the tool end of the flexible shaft (3). The adaptor may be rotatably fitted onto the shaft.
