APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING BRANCH DATA IN TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND SETTING METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing branch data in a transmission system and setting method therefor are provided to decrease the number of logic for processing branch data by newly composing a calling function for changing a line and a database in the case that a subscriber transmission interval is composed using only lines of an E1 level. CONSTITUTION: A demultiplexer(31) receives AU3(administrative unit 3) level data provided from a switch interface to demultiplex received AU3 level data and inputs demultiplexed AU3 level data to input terminals of first to sixth data processing units(41-46). Signals inputted to first to sixth data processing units(41-46) are TUG2(tributary unit group 3)+E1 data. If TUG2(tributary unit group 3)+E1 data are inputted to first to sixth data processing units(41-46), one first to sixth data processing unit processes the 4 numbers of E1 level data.
