PURPOSE: A postbox also used as a door plate is provided to receive various sizes of mail and delivered articles without enlargement of a postbox and to protect the mail by preventing water leakage as well as to reduce inconvenience in putting/taking in the mail. CONSTITUTION: To put a mail in a postbox, a user turns over a door(23) up. The door(23) rotates centering on a shaft integral with a rear side(24). The user lets the door(23) go to close the door(23) after finishing putting the mail in the postbox. The user takes a mail by putting the hand into the postbox after opening the door(23). The mail on the bottom is difficult for the user to take if the mail is laid on the plane. Thus, the bottom has a mount plate to help the user take the mail easily by pushing a one side to lift the other side.
