CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS SIGNAL GENERATOR FOR TESTING POWER AMPLIFIERS

PURPOSE: A CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) generator for testing power amplifiers is provided to generate all CDMA signals having broad band frequencies and to control a crest factor(peak to average ratio) of a power amplifier source, so as to generate various CDMA signals from low band signals to broad band signals. CONSTITUTION: A noise generator(110) supplies noise sources from low band noises to broad band noises. A variable attenuator(120) attenuates the noise sources into appropriate levels. A limiter(130) limits a maximum peak of signals outputted from the variable attenuator. A prime filter(140) filters the outputted signals of the limiter with setup bands. An amplifier(150) amplifies the outputted signals of the prime filter with predetermined levels. A power divider(160) divides power of the signals. A CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) signal generator(170) mixes the divided signals with local frequencies supplied from a PLL(Phase Locked Loop) generating different frequencies. The CDMA signal generator varies the mixed signals, and outputs the signals as CDMA signals for testing power amplifiers.
