PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring characteristics of a fluorescent substance is provided to conveniently and accurately measure the characteristics of the fluorescent substance used in a plasma display device. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring characteristics of a fluorescent substance includes a discharge lamp(11) injecting discharge gas into a glass bulb and applying alternating current to electrodes for generating discharge lights, an optical filter(13) filtering light of specific wavelength range among the lights generated in the discharge lamp, a sample solution wheel(14) loading a plurality of fluorescent substance sample solutions16 emitting by being excited by the incident light through the optical filter, a light guide part(15) guiding the light generated from the fluorescent substance sample solution to a light characteristics measuring detector, and a vacuum chamber(17) accommodating the sample solution wheel and the light guide part. |
