PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data messages in the digital trunked radio system is provided so that all the terminals of a group can receive a data message at one data message transmission. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a message transmitted from a base station. The terminal confirms an STID(Stationary Identification) field to check whether it is a group STID. In case that the STID field is a group STID, the terminal confirms whether the received message is a data message. If the received message is not a data message, the terminal confirms whether it is a voice call message. If it is a voice call message, the terminal carries out a generic message processing procedure. In case that the received message is a data message, the terminal inserts its IP address into a required location of a message format. The terminal processes the received message in the same manner of an individual data message.
