The face of the case (2) has an inner ring of apertures through which twelve Light Emitting Diodes (11 to 19, 110, 111, 112) can be seen. Only one is lit at any time. Its position indicates the hour. An outer ring of sixty smaller LEDs is used to indicate the minute.
