PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electroconductive ceramic that is highly accurate, antistatic, controllable in its thermal expansion coefficient and has high modulus and produce an antistatic material using the same. SOLUTION: This electroconductive ceramic comprises oxides containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Zn, Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba, and Ti and Si and at least one selected from a metal, carbon, iron oxide, tin oxide, copper oxide, cobalt oxide, niobium oxide, nickel oxide, titanium carbide and titanium nitride as an electroconductive properties-giving material, and has a volume specific resistance of 102-108 Ω.cm and a surface roughness (Ra) of <=2.0 μm. This electroconductive ceramic is used to prepare an antistatic material. |
