PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller capable of preparing/working a speed command pattern by user's operation. SOLUTION: In the programmable controller provided with a speed pattern generator 12 having speed pattern preparation parts 12a to 12n for inputting moving distance/speed/acceleration time/deceleration time, calculating a required speed pattern and outputting the resultant speed pattern to a servo motor 17, the generator 12 has a plurality of speed pattern preparation parts 12a to 12n and generates a required speed pattern by simultaneously executing one or more optional speed pattern preparation parts out of the plurality of parts 12a to 12n. The speed pattern calculated by the generator 12 is outputted to a user operation part 14 and a user can freely process the speed pattern by using the user operation part 14.
