PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor, an electrophotographic method and an electrophotographic apparatus high in durability and capable of solving a problem of occurrence of abnormal images such as letter thickening caused occasionally by reverse polar charging carried out by a transfer means in which the lowering of potential after exposure at the time of the next imaging process. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic apparatus is provided with an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, a charging means, an imagewise exposing means, a reversely developing means and a transfer means. The photosensitive layer contains a solvent and after the photoreceptor is subjected to fatigue due to repeated charging in normal and polarities, the change rate of residual potential is <=200%.
