PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger directly connectable to an AC outlet, extension cord, table tap, etc., by rotating a holder part or AC lug appropriately, allowing a reduction of costs by integrally forming an AC adapter part with the holder part and decreasing the number of component parts. SOLUTION: An AC adapter part 1 equipped rotatably with an AC plug 2 connected electrically with the AC main power source is rotatably integrally formed with a holder part 3 which holds and charges a portable type electronic appliance such as a portable telephone, and the holder part 3 is provided with a hole or notch where a data communication connector of the portable electronic appliance is exposed, and thereby a low-cost charger is accomplished which allows data communication while it undergoes a charging process.
