PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a data signal communication speed by decreasing interference without incurring the danger of much reducing transmission quality and of system failure of a communication link in a code division multiple access(CDMA) mobile radio system. SOLUTION: In a code division multiple access(CDMA) mobile radio system, transmission power control is executed so that the transmission level of an intermittent transmission information signal is kept as low as possible. In addition, in order to evaluate a radio channel and correct distortion caused by the radio channel, a pilot signal evaluated at a receiving end is transmitted. In this method, the silence periods of the intermittent transmission information signal (DAT1) are detected and the transmission power of the pilot signal (PLT1) is reduced for the silence periods. |
