PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, stably and precisely control the damage by blast neck rot over the whole period of rice forming by applying a composition containing metominostrobin and a fertilizer component at the transplanting time of a seedling or a seeding time of unhulled rice in a paddy field to the side of the row. SOLUTION: A fertilizer composition containing a fungicide for paddy rice is prepared by formulating metominostrobin as the fungicide component for the paddy rice with a fertilizer component. A nitric fertilizer such as urea, ammonium nitrate, a phosphate fertilizer such as calcium superphosphate and fused phosphate, potassium fertilizer such as potassium chloride, a silicate fertilizer such as calcium silicate, a magnesium fertilizer such as magnesium sulfate, a calcium fertilizer such as quick lime, a manganese fertilizer such as manganese nitrate, a boric fertilizer such as boric acid, and an iron-containing fertilizer such as an iron and steel slag are cited as the fertilizer component. Various kinds of carriers such as a solid carrier and a liquid carrier, and optionally a surfactant, an emulsion, a wettable powder, an aqueous suspension, an aqueous opacifier, a granule, a powder or the like can be added thereto.
