PURPOSE: A CRT is provided to prevent interference about electron gun trajectory by forming an inflection point in the inner side of a yoke installation section adjacent to a portion where BSN is generated. CONSTITUTION: A CRT of the invention comprises a panel(3) having fluorescent screen in the inner side, a funnel(4) is connected with the panel(3), and a neck(7) combined to the end of the funnel(4) in the smaller diameter. The neck(7) installs an electron gun opposed to the fluorescent screen. The CRT further has a pyramidal yoke installation section(100) extended from the end of the neck(7) to the panel(3). The inner shape of the yoke installation section(100) is inflected to the direction of the normal line of the funnel(4) at a position toward the panel(3) in reference to the deflection line. The depth of the inflection is 0.1 to 0.5 times of the thickness at the point of the inflection. The width of the inflection is 0.5 to 15 millimeter. The position of the inflection point is 5.0 to 20 millimeter added to the deflection reference line.
