The truck consists of a frame with two pivoting arms (3), handles (6) and wheels (1) with an axle that is positioned underneath the centre of gravity of a wheeled platform (7). By depressing a pedal (5) on the truck frame the platform wheels (8) are raised above its rails (9) and the platform can then be manoeuvred off-rails by using the handles.
