<p>A composite sheet has a substrate layer, a coating layer and a metallic layer. The substrate layer is preferably a polyester film. The coating layer contains a layer mineral, preferably vermiculite. The composite sheet exhibits improved oxygen barrier properties and is suitable for use as a packaging film, particularly when laminated to a heat-sealable layer, preferably of polyethylene.</p> |
