Moulding element and mould for moulding a cutout in a tyre tread

A mould element has an anchorage with extensions for forming a shaped edge of a tyre tread. An arm is pivotally mounted on o of the extensions and is supported by another extension to form an orifice that forms a connecting bridge on the tyre. Independent claims are included for the following: (a) a part of a mould has elements with arm(s) pivoted on some elements them and supported by other elements to form orific for molten rubber to pass through during moulding of a tyre; (b) a tyre molded using a mould including (a).
