A terminal includes a central unit (1) with an input bus (2), an output bus (8) and a point-to-point data module (13), and an information bus (19) coupled to a data output bus (8). The terminal includes a switch over unit (20) that restores a link between central unit (1) and the point-to-point data module (13) in order to establish a link between central unit (1) and the computer information bus (19).
