PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a completely new load distribution on a fixing means by using a catch as a movable bayonet web and to make considerably reducible the weight or size of the structure of a locking member while keeping the same mechanical strength. SOLUTION: A locking member 8 is movable between a first fixing position and a second position for opening a lid. In order to fix a lid 3 to a container part 2 keeping a pressure resistant state while saving material through a simple constitution with respect to this cooking container, at least one mutual contact surfaces 14, 15 for a locking member 8 on the part 2 and the member 8 on the lid 3 are provided to form a pair of shear loads by these to apply force for moving the contact surfaces in mutually opposite directions to the locking members 8 under the action of internal pressure to joining parts 11 adjacent to each other in the axial direction.
