PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse accumulating box, which can be compactly folded so as to prevent obstruction for traffic when it is not in use, eliminating deterioration of attractive outward appearance in a folded condition. SOLUTION: A refuse containing part is formed by a pair of pantograph extending/contracting mechanisms 5 extensible/contractible in a longitudinal direction and a front panel 4 provided in a front end part of the pantograph extending/contracting mechanism 5, a storage frame 7, which can store the pantograph extending/contracting mechanism 5 and the front panel 4, is vertically provided in a suspension root end part of the pantograph extending/ contracting mechanism 5, a cover body 3 is pivotally mounted in an upper front end position of the storage frame 7, a refuse accumulating box 1 is formed in a condition extending the pantograph extending/contracting mechanism 5, the pantograph extending/contracting mechanism 5 and the front panel are contained in the inside of the storage frame 7 in a condition contracting the pantograph extending/contracting mechanism 5, and the cover body 3 is piled together in a parallel state to the front panel 4.
