PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the setting of a timing and the revolution speed changing of a plate cylinder in a manner to keep a tension variation to the minimum to a slip amount by correcting a printing register slip to a printing unit on the upstream side in a specified range of the plate cylinder phase angle and/or a specified value of the plate cylinder revolution speed in a printing unit on the downstream side. SOLUTION: When a register regulator 21 receives a register mark detecting signal from a register mark detector 20, and an angle for a plate cylinder correction and an operation amount of the speed are output to a motion controller 27. A plate cylinder correction angle inputting device 24 sets a set value for the correction angle, and a plate cylinder correction speed inputting device 25 sets a set value for the correction speed, respectively for the register regulator 21. The regulator 21 corrects a printing register slip for a printing unit on the upstream side in a specified range for the plate cylinder phase angle, and at a specified value for the plate cylinder revolution speed, and sets a revolution speed variation of the plate cylinder to the printing register slip amount at a proper amount, and reduces a tension variation by the correction. By this constitution, the correction can be performed by the optimum phase angle and revolution speed wherein the tension variation is taken under consideration. |
