PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate hot water discharging troubles and perform a convenient and fast hot water discharging operation by a method wherein a circumferential end edge of a lid member other than a pull tab piece is provided with the pull tab piece, a guide half-cut, a cutting means and a substantial U-shaped half-cut are cooperatively arranged to form a hot water cutting port. SOLUTION: Hot water is poured into a container through a hot water pouring port, a peeled-off portion of a lid member 10 is applied again over the container and when a first pull tab piece 3 is held with fingers after cooking for a desired period of time and wound up, the portions of both root segments 31, 31 are cut away up to guiding halfcuts 66, 77, thereby the cutting is advanced along the cuts and at the same time a thermal adhering section 2 is peeled off from the outer edge and reaches up the cutting means 8, resulting in that the wound-up portion of the lid member 10 is branched and then cut along the substantial U-shaped half sections 6, 7 and finally the wound-up portion including the first pull tab piece 3 is removed, thereby substantial U-shaped two hot water cutting ports are formed at the lid member 10 and then the remaining hot water in the container 1 is discharged out of the hot water cutting ports.
