<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting connector having little occurrence of crosstalk of a signal between adjacent contacts and capable of speedily transmitting the signal. SOLUTION: A contact 2 ranged and held by a contact body 10 is surface- mounted to a mount pattern on a printed board by soldering in this connector. Each contact 2 is composed of a contact body 20 having a contact part 23a on one end side and a mount part 21a on the other end side, an insulating layer of an insulating material to cover the outer periphery of the insulating layer except the contact part and the mount part, and a conductive layer to cover the outer periphery of the insulating layer. The mount part 21a is soldered to the mount pattern 43 on the surface of the printed circuit board 40 and the connector 1 is surface-mounted to the printed board 40 by soldering a ground mount layer to a ground mount pattern 42.</p> |
