PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand unit at a low cost by which a height of a heavy load can be adjusted by nearly a constant manual labor without making the unit large in size and complicated. SOLUTION: The stand unit 11 is provided with a stand body 12 comprising a long member 22 stood upright vertically and with a mobile member 13 that is supported by the stand body 12 freely movably in the vertical direction and on the upper end of which a heavy load 14 is placed. The mobile member 13 and the long member 22 are interconnected by a superelastic wire 1.
