PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a torque-detecting device that can be easily assembled to an electric power steering and can stably detect a torque, and an electric power steering device using the torque-detecting device. SOLUTION: An electric power steering device 1 is provided with an input shaft 3 that is connected to a steering wheel, an output shaft 5 that outputs steering force to a steering wheel, a torque-detecting device 7 that is included between the shaft ends, an electric motor 9 that gives auxiliary steering force to the output shaft 5 according to the detection torque of the torque-detecting device 7, and a main frame 11 for accommodating the members. The torque- detecting device 7 is provided with a sensor shaft that is connected to the input shaft 3 and is supported so that it can be rotated, a magnetostriction layer that is formed at the sensor shaft, a detection coil that detects the permeability of the magnetostriction layer, a coil bobbin where the detection coil is wound, an electronic circuit board for carrying an amplification circuit for amplifying a signal that is outputted from the detection coil, and a frame for fixing the electronic circuit board, thus machining and forming the coil bobbin and the frame in one piece. |
