PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster bar for the equipment for building capable of dealing with room arrangement and an equipment for building provided with this. SOLUTION: The caster bar 20 is used for the equipment 10 for building having a pair of vertical plates 11 and a horizontal plate 15 horizontally mounted between the plates 11. Then, the bar 20 is provided with a bar member 21 each end part of which is abutted on the plate surface of the respectively corresponding plate 11 and which has a pawl part 25 for carrying the lower end part of the plate 11 at each end part, and casters 22 fitted to the member 21 so that the height is adjustable.
