PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently maintain a sliding property and abrasion resistance over a long term by forming a tubular sleeve slidable along a shaft with a composition made of a polyamide resin and modified high-density polyethylene. SOLUTION: A tubular sleeve 2 slidable along a shaft is formed with a composition made of a polyamide resin and a modified high-density polyethylene. A nylon resin, including a semicrystalline resin and a noncrystalline resin, can be used for the polyamide resin. The modified high-density polyethylene improves and maintains the sliding property of the sleeve 2 and the abrasion resistance of itself and a mating member for a long period. High density polyethylene before modification preferably has a molecular weight of 50,000-400,000 and density of 0.90 g/cm3 or higher, it is modified by one or both of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride, and the modified high density polyethylene of 0.5-10 pts.wt. is contained with respect to the polyamide resin of 100 pts.wt. Superior durability can be realized accordingly.
