PURPOSE: A panning and tilting controller for camera is provided to obtain a simple camera system by integrating miniaturized panning and tilting functions without changing the size of the camera system. CONSTITUTION: A camera is integrated with a panning unit and a tilting unit in the lower part. The panning and tilting units are fixed to a support by a coupler means. A panning and tilting control system comprises a control adjustment unit, a controller, a storage, a position controller and a position detector. The control adjustment unit adjusts a swing range and speed of the camera according to the panning and tilting of the camera, and sends a corresponding signal to the controller. The controller sends a signal for panning or tilting the camera to the position controller, and compares a position detect signal from the position detector and a previously set position signal from the storage to calibrate the signal for panning or tilting. |
