<p>PURPOSE: A method for caricature production is provided to simplify the general public's production and approach to caricature. CONSTITUTION: A method for caricature production is composed of input, analysis, extraction, selection, and completion. The picture is inputted(100) and each part of the picture is analyzed(102). The appropriate caricature models to be used in place of those parts are extracted(104). Each extraction models are incorporated to form a composite model(106). The appropriate data of the composite facial model is inputted, an appropriate head shape for the model is selected from the head database(108), and the facial model designed to be used as a caricature is completed(110). In order to complete the model's body, an appropriate body is selected from the body database(112), a background image is composited(114), and a perfect caricature is created(116).</p> |
