PURPOSE: A valve pin installed a resin absorbing slit on a valve pin for cleaning a runner wall without being solidified on the surface of the wall by absorbing remaining resins after molding at the time of rising of a valve pin is provided which enables a valve pin to rise and fall easily and prevents clogging of a valve gate and contamination of a resin. CONSTITUTION: In a valve pin of a hot runner for molding plastic products, a slit selected from a transverse slit(3), a longitudinal slit(2) and a transverse and longitudinal slit is formed on the circumferential face of the lower part of a large diameter of a valve pin(1). The valve pin promotes productivity and increases production quality.
