PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a PWM power converter which suppresses waveform distortion of a current, even when the pulse width of a command PWM(pulse-width modulation) becomes narrower. SOLUTION: A controller detects the difference in level between a command PWM signal held by a pulse holding section 21 and a phase voltage level signal Uf by means of an error detecting section 22, and the error time is measured and stored at both turn-on time and turn-off time, by means of the counting function of a pulse correcting section 23. Then the controller corrects the turn on/off timings of the held PWM signal by the time corresponding to the stored error amount and outputs the corrected signal as a corrected PWM signal (Uc). |
