PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment method using chemicals as oxidant is provided which is characterized in that organic materials, nitrogen, and phosphate are removed efficiently. CONSTITUTION: Wastewater flows from reservoir to an anoxic tank, and is treated firstly by flocculation and sedimentation, and is finally treated by passing through aerobic tank and secondary sedimentation tank. An anoxic tank is equipped with a chemical injecting port(1) that injects by using a chemical pump(3). Chemicals comprises 2-10wt% of KMnO4, 0.01-0.06wt% of Ca(OH)2, and 10-50wt% of FeSO4 and a mixing device(4) for accelerating chemical reaction by mixing wastewater and chemicals. A reaction time in the anoxic tank is suitable for 1.5-3hr.
