PURPOSE: A system and method for advertising goods using a sound and a moving picture of an entertainer for sound/video service and electronic commerce by enhancing compression rate of the sound/video data at any internet circumstance. CONSTITUTION: A client system(1) receives an article information and at least one video image from associated therewith from a server system(3) in response to user input and displays the received information. The user selects one video image from the at least one video image. In response to the selection of the user, video image of the selected image and a specific timbre of voice information about the article corresponding to the selected image are output. The images are those of famous entertainers, and the voices are also those of famous entertainers.
