PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst combustor in which heating efficiency is enhanced. SOLUTION: The catalyst combustor comprises a heat transfer plate 24 arranged above a combustion chamber, a flame extinguishing net 28, and an exhaust opening 34 for discharging exhaust gas through the flame extinguishing net and an opening around the combustion chamber. Since not only the heat transmitted from the heat transfer plate 24 but also the air in the vicinity of the combustion chamber 14 heated up by catalytic combustion heat and combustion exhaust gas actually heated up through combustion can collide against a cooking pan 19, heating efficiency can be enhanced.
