A composition suitable for use in the oral cavity comprises at least one extract of a Boswellia plant, or at least one boswellic acid or derivative thereof; and a carrier comprising at least one flavour ingredient. The extract, or boswellic acid or derivative thereof, is useful in preparing compositions or products with the ability to soothe irritation, or treat inflammation, in the oral cavity. |
