PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of stably operating by preventing the deterioration of the servo characteristics due to the deviation of optical axis. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an optical pickup 204, a detector 205 for converting the reflected light into the electrical signal, a differential amplifier 207 for producing a tracking error signal from the difference signal between an E signal and F signal, and a digital servo processor 202 and a CPU 206 for controlling the tracking on the basis of the tracking error signal. The device is also provided with a TE signal normalization part 208 for correcting the deterioration of the tracking error signal due to the optical axis deviation between the optical disk 201 and the optical pickup 204 by a normalization process part.
