PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate connection of an earthquake-resistant joint pipe even when a gap between an insertion port outer surface and a socket inner surface is small and insertion of an expansion jig is difficult to make, in a pipe joint designed to prevent the occurrence of pull-off through engagement of an insertion port protrusion part with a lock ring. SOLUTION: This earthquake-resistant pipe joint is formed that a lock ring containing groove 3 is formed in the inner surface of a socket 2, a one-split lock ring 5 is contained in the containing groove 3 of the lock ring through a rubber 4 for centering, by spreading the split 5a, an insertion port 6 provided at its tip with a protrusion part 7 is inserted in the socket 2, and after insertion, the lock ring 5 is constructed to its original size to effect engagement with the insertion port protrusion part 7. In this case, a guide groove 11 is formed in a manner to extend from the opening end of a pipe socket 2 to the containing groove 3 of the lock ring.
