PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform retransmission control over unreceived packets by reducing signal transfer between a terminal and a base station. SOLUTION: When the base station CS1 and mobile terminal devices PS1, PS2, and PS3 have a packet communication, data are sent from the base station CS1 by a specific number of packets and then the mobile terminal device PS1 when receiving an acknowledgement signal sends a transmission confirmation signal back to the base station CS1. At this time, reception history information indicating whether the packets are received or not is inserted into the transmission confirmation signal and sent back. Consequently, the base station CS1 is able to confirm which packet of the data received by itself is not received at a time according to the transmission confirmation signal and efficiently resends the unreceived packet.
