PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a camera shake without being affected by an operational impact in a camera, and to reduce the shake by using the detection results. SOLUTION: In response to an exposure start instructing operation by an exposure start instruction part 55, a quick return mirror 62 is driven by a mirror driving part 61 so as to be made in an up-state. Thereafter, the shake is detected/calculated by a shake detecting/calculating part 01, then, it is decided by an exposure start decision part 02 based on the output of the part 01 whether or not it is allowed to start the exposure. When the exposure is allowed by the part 02, a shutter device 03 is driven, then, the exposure operation actually starts. In this case, information on a time from the ending of a mirror drive by the mirror driving part 61 to the starting of the operation of the part 01 or the part 02 is stored in a working time information storing part 65. Then, the operation is started by the part 01 or the part 02 based on the stored information, and then, the aforesaid processing is executed. |
