PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the visibility of connecting faces and to improve the visibility of a large screen by disposing an instrument for optical process in a connecting part so that a part of the display content can be displayed to the connecting faces. SOLUTION: Display devices 107, 112 are horizontally connected through the connecting faces, and an optical instrument 201 having a reflection face is disposed between the display regions of the display devices 107, 112. A part of the light outputted from the display region passes through an optical path 301, and is reflected by the reflection face of the optical instrument 201 and outputted to an optical path 302. The conditions of this state are that an input angle and an output angle for a normal line of the reflection face are equal to each other, and thereby, when a user in a far side sees the display device, the user intensity recognizes the light at 90 deg. angle to the display plane. Therefore, the part of the content displayed in the display devices 107, 112 is uniformly compressed and displayed in the optical instrument 201, the visibility of a nondisplay region due to connection can be reduced, discontinuity in the display screen is not recognized, and the display screen can be easily used.
