PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the altered content of settings easily and surely by printing or displaying the previously registered information of articles for a group of articles of specific section including articles of which the registered information is altered. SOLUTION: When the unit price is altered for articles of one-day special sale, or the like, a shop girl displays an ordinary screen, pushes a key for selecting the division of article to be altered and then displays the second name of division at an article designation key. Subsequently, article information is displayed at a display column by pushing an article designation key corresponding to that article. When the shop girl pushes the ten key at a stroke key section 4, a registered numeral is displayed at a unit price display column and a CPU 11 is set with a unit price alteration mode. When the specified key is pushed subsequently, the CPU 11 overwrites the unit price column of that article in an article master 12a with an input unit price and alters the registered information. After setting and alteration are repeated, the CPU 11 is set with a list issue mode and the article information is read out from the article master 12a before issuing a unit article registration list to a print section 5.
