摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize wave front aberration at the time of reproducing data of a DVD and CD by a relatively simple composition by using a divergence degree of a part of transmitted light of that 1st divergence degree altering means as a 2nd divergence degree, which uses a divergence degree of the light emitted from a dual parallel-arranged semiconductor laser as a 1st divergence degree. SOLUTION: This optical pick-up device is provided with a dual parallel- arranged semiconductor laser 111 emitting light beams with 650 nm and 750 nm wavelengths, a collimator lens 104 for collimating exit light from the dual parallel-arranged semiconductor laser 111, and a concave lens 301 for diverging the light in the center part in the neighborhood of the optical axis emitted from the dual parallel-arranged semiconductor laser 111. An object lens 107 focuses the light of a 650 nm center wavelength collimated through the collimator lens 104 on a DVD 109, and focuses the light of a 780 nm center wavelength diverged by the collimator lens 104 and the concave lens 301 on a CD 108.
