PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat transport system excellent in durability and operational stability in which isolation between a storage unit and an evaporator is enhanced by interconnecting a first tank for evaporating inner liquid with a second tank for delivering condensed liquid to the first tank through a pipe provided with a valve which passes gas freely but suppresses passage of liquid. SOLUTION: A pipe D interconnecting a storage unit 11 and an evaporator 12 is provided with an air purge valve allowing movement of gas from the evaporator 12 to the storage unit 11 but not allowing passage of liquid and one end of the interconnecting pipe D on the evaporator 12 is submerged below the liquid level. Heat carrier 19 in the evaporator 12 is heated with heat from a heat source 18 and when the liquid level in the interconnecting pipe D rises up to the air purge valve 1, it can not advance furthermore. As evaporation progresses in the evaporator 12, liquid state heat carrier 19 does not exist in the interconnecting pipe D and vapor state heat carrier 19 moves from the evaporator 12 through the air purge valve to the storage unit 11. Liquid state heat carrier 19 in the storage unit 11 falls freely through an interconnecting pipe A to flow into the evaporator 12.
