<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for composing information, taken in as the text of a text editor document, into a field of a record by changing data in response to a received text editing command and re-storing the changed data in respective fields in response to an updated command. SOLUTION: An application displays records, held in a contact database, on a record display panel (304). It is assumed that a record is selected out of the displayed records and the application retrieves data of various fields of the selected record (306). The retrieved data are displayed on a GUI picture (308). It is made possible for a user to change the display data (301). When the user selects the advance of the process to store the data, the application stores the data in corresponding fields of records of the contact database as displayed (312).</p> |
