PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically inform of the transmission of printing data depending on the transmission. SOLUTION: The printing system comprises a receiving side mail server 2 included in a network, a receiver 4 connected to the network and a printer 5 connected to the network, and the server 2 is provided with a table 8 for registering correspondence between the receiver 4 and the printer 5. Since correspondence between the receiver 4 and the printer 5 is registered, the server 2 can synchronously, simultaneously and reliably inform the receiver 4 of a mail concerned with the transmission of printing data.
