A tubular electrode holder holds a thin and long tubular electrode (6) that can be mounted coaxially on the spindle (7) of an electrodischarge machine for making a thin hole. The electrode holder includes a cylinder (1) having a through hole (1a) and an upper end threaded for engagement with the spindle, and a collet (2) having a hole (2a) in which is held the tubular electrode inserted in the through hole of the cylinder. A holder head (5) for adjusting the collet's power of holding is screwed to the threaded upper end, rather than to the lower end through which the tubular electrode extends. |
