PURPOSE: Photo sensor attaching structure is provided to protect a photo sensor in a safe state and to maintain for the photo sensor to function properly in a regular state by attaching the photo sensor easily to a car door of elevator. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing beam(2) is established each vertically to a car door(1) that is installed to oppose to an elevator. To the reinforcing beam(2), an attaching panel(3) is fixed as a combining member(4) and inside of the attaching panel, a photo sensor(5) is fixed as a combining member(4). At a side of the reinforcing beam and at an opposed face of the car door in a horizontal state with the photo sensor(5), plural vent holes are formed for a beam generated in the photo sensor to pass through. Additionally, in rear of each car door, upper and lower areas are held by a fixing bracket(8) for installing a door safety(9). For the photo sensor is fixed within the attaching panel, the photo sensor is protected in a safe state by the attaching panel to prevent damage caused by outer shock.
