PURPOSE: A method for correcting a slope drift in a shuttle method scanner is provided to correct the slope drift easily by linearizing a voltage waveform of scanned data through a shading correction process. CONSTITUTION: A scanner head scans a white sheet(S1), and a voltage value common difference of a white component is calculated by each pixel, and a shading correction coefficient is found by each pixel(S2). After this, a user removes the white sheet, and the scanner head scans pattern data of a reference sheet by a slice(S3), and scanned data is displayed through an oscilloscope, and is stored at a memory, and an image process part performs a shading correction by using the pattern data(S4). The corrected pattern data is displayed through the oscilloscope(S5). The user rotates a knob control device at a fixed position until the corrected pattern data is linearized(S6). At this time, the user confirms that the corrected pattern data is linearized through the oscilloscope.
