PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a refrigerant recovering device from leaving a refrigerant to be recovered and being operated for a long time for recovering the refrigerant regardless of the charging amount of the refrigerant and the length of piping. SOLUTION: A refrigerant recovering device is provided with a refrigerating circuit 40 which applies a transporting pressure to a secondary refrigerant in a closed circuit 13 for recovering the refrigerant to a refrigerant cylinder 91. The circuit 40 is constituted of a refrigerating cycle through which a primary refrigerant is circulated, pressurizes the secondary refrigerant in the closed circuit 13 by heating by using the primary refrigerant, and applies the transporting pressure to the secondary refrigerant by lowering the pressure of the secondary refrigerant in the closed circuit 13 by cooling the refrigerant with the primary refrigerant. The pressure of the secondary refrigerant in the closed circuit 13 is detected and, when the pressure drops to a prescribed value, a recovery terminating section 81 terminates the recovery of the refrigerant.
