PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for processing food wastes by absorbing the water contained in the wastes with heated air heat, which can promote processing amount of the food wastes without offensive odor and be included in a sink unit or installed at the outer part of the unit. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a body(52) having a door opened and closed by a hinge fastened the front and holding a waste basket, a fan device(100) operated for circulating and exhausting air in the body, a connecting duct with a built-in heater heating the air passed through the fan device, a dividing part(76) connected to an outlet port of the connecting duct for dividing the air flow with a partition, a purification device(200) absorbing water content of the divided air and removing offensive odors to be discharged to the outside from the air, and an air suction port for flowing outside air into the body.
